I totally forgot to do my regular Passover Creeping Death post. And then I heard this cover by Stone Sour. It’s pretty standard, but the vocals are pretty amazing. You can also hear the bass in it. That’s vital to metal and half the time it’s tuned out of the mix so much you can’t hear anything. And then I feel bad for bassists.

The song’s off their EP “Meanwhile in Burbank” which features covers of other hits, including Children of the Grave and Love Gun. They don’t stray much from the originals, but the guys are talented so it’s still a solid outing.
