Through the power of Twitter and further internet research, I learned that Nate Dogg passed away. I readily admit I don’t listen to a whole lot of rap or hip hop, but pretty much any song I heard that featured Nate Dogg was awesome. So awesome that my friends & I thought there should’ve been an album “Featuring Nate Dogg.”
This is one of my favorite songs involving Nate Dogg not called Regulate. It’s Gotta Find a Way, off 213’s album “The Hard Way.”
Drinking the Joker amber ale. Tastes like an amber/IPA fusion. So totally delicious. I definitely recommend trying it if your favorite watering hole carries it.
Alestorm, those masters of the genre known as Scottish pirate metal, have a new album coming out, titled Back Through Time. They also just released one of the tracks, Shipwrecked:

These guys shred and if this track is any indicator, the album is going to be just as amazing as their others. Apparently they got actual brass and strings to fill out the parts that were usually played by keytar, and it totally gives the songs a different polish than their older tracks.
I feel like this is the most tasteful way for the show to move forward.
After playing Stacking for a few hours, my buddy told me, and I quote, “Double Fine is like double tits.”
The enjoyment is analogous so I have to post this.
I am apparently a giant moron. That is all.
Oh and I missed out on Community. Thankfully Hulu’s to the rescue, but not until tomorrow.
My prep is dinner and a couple drinks. I hope it lubes up my brain such that I can pull 18th century British lit out of my ass. Trip report in a few hours.
This game is great fun for many reasons, the silent film style cutscenes, the beautiful music, the unique humor that is present in Double Fine’s games. But for me, my favorite part is there’s a character who can fart to clear a room.
One: I can post from my phone. It’s radical.
Two: I am drinking Ninkasi Unconventionale Imperial Stout. It tastes like Teddy Grahams. Delicious, alcohol infused Teddy Grahams. I heartily recommend it, but don’t just take my word for it, check out some pretentious descriptions of the beer.
I think I may have had my favorite beer of 2011 today. The mutually assured destruction that came with IPAs (let’s add 200 more lbs of hops to this batch) finally was countered with a sweet, delicious, and smooth beer that is incredibly delicious. Copper Hog serves it in a 12 oz glass so it’s a little strong, but the flavors are phenomenal.
Even Seattle Beer News is digging on it.
