This is some solid hard rock party awesomeness right here. It sounds like the kind of stoner rock that would be playing while you’re driving on some empty stretch of highway out in the middle of nowhere, in search of the next epic adventure.
The rest of the album kind of jumps around from genre to genre. There’s a Van Halen-esque track, 1985, with big late 70’s sounding guitar chugs and squeedilies. The opening track sounds like solid black metal. Death metal? Something.
I had not heard of these guys until recently, but they have a big sound and I look forward to listening to more of it, while blasting across the alkali flats in a jet-powered, monkey-navigated… it goes on like this.
