First time I heard Royal Thunder I was eating a philly at a metal bar in town. I thought it was a new Witchburn track at first, then I learned! They’ve got a great sound, kind of pivoting from psychedelic rock like Glow to sludge/stoner metal, and more. And Mlny Parsonz’s got a set of pipes. It’s the type of metal lady singer voice that I really like; there’s a edge to it in complement to solid singing. Way the hell better than the weird operatic lady voice stuff you hear in like Kamelot & whatever.

They’re also starting a tour soon, and they’ll be on the road with Bellingham’s own Wild Throne. That’ll be one hell of a show, I imagine.
