Man Queen was a kickass band. The other day I saw an article on music radar of Brendon Small’s choices for the 10 greatest heavy metal songs of all time. I had not heard Queen’s Prophet’s Song, mostly because the only Queen albums I’ve heard are best ofs. And Don’t Stop Me Now in Shaun of the Dead.

This is a big and powerful sound and sounds like a total rock opera. From the folk intro to the layered vocal harmonies, Queen was phenomenal at creating atmosphere within a song.
