1985 is alive in Toronto! Skull Fist formed around 2006 behind the crazy vocals of Zach Slaughter, bringing the early 80’s speed metal vibe along with him.

According to the Wikipedia, the band follows the quintessential path of metal bands, with a baker’s dozen musicians taking on various roles in their 10-ish year span. The vocals have a bit of a Mercyful Fate feel to it, and with the fast guitars and driving drums, it’s a solid culmination of metal.

Also they threw an umlaut up on top of the o in Head öf the Pack. Anyway. Here is Head öf the Pack, in full noodly guitar intro glory. Sounds like something that would’ve been in Airheads or Bill & Ted’s Excellent adventure.
