More from Spotify Discover Weekly! Apparently these guys were called Highlander, then the movie came out so they changed their name to Lost Horizon. Either way they are the kind of epic power metal that you assume would be tied to a movie as bombastic as Highlander, so that’s pretty great.

They have some musical overlap with bands like Blind Guardian and Hammerfall, which makes sense given a few of the members ended up in Hammerfall. The vocals are big and harmonizing and hit those fun falsettos that are important in metal, while the rest of the band is tight and keeps things going.

Behold, Again the Fire Will Burn, which sounds like it’d be a great montage song from when the Highlander is learning to… Highland… and stuff.
