Texan metal what doesn’t yell about southern style! Helstar had an album come out last week, The Wicked Nest, and it sounds pretty great. The drums have some wicked urgency without being overly double kick, and the guitar solos are noodly amazingness. The singer has a bit of a dio like rasp, and he can also pump out high octane/octave screams to really punctuate the verses. Very fun stuff.
