Angry Metal Guy is a great resource for learning about new metal coming out. Unfortunately, 95% of new metal is death/black/technical black/mathdeath/doom/something similar. Not really my bag. But they put up a review for Shores of Null’s album Quiescence, and upon first impression it’s cool album.
The reviewer leans on Kings of Null as the best track in the album, and it’s pretty solid. So that’s why it gets to be the Friday morning metal today. Also because it sounds like Alice In Chains joined forces with a death metal band, and there’s a real peanut butter in my chocolate type situation going on here.
