I used to dislike folk/pagan metal. That odd combination of lutes and not singing in English just didn’t do it for me. But I guess with age comes wisdom or just enjoying stuff for the hell of it. So now I’m digging bands like Eluveitie, what incorporate a flute and bagpipes into their Swiss folk metal, and it’s a great addition.
