I listened to Ensiferum a bit back in college, but they kind of fell off my radar. I think the vocals just didn’t grab me too much, but their cover of Metallica’s Battery was pretty awesome. Anyway, I went to scope them out again, and In My Sword I Trust is the big epic battle metal that should be blasted when running headlong into the fray, axe in hand.

The chorus has some great clean vocals, but I don’t know if that’s something they’re going for in future tracks. But it is a welcome surprise.
