A friend just kicked the bandcamp page over to me for SpaceMetal, a groove/stoner rock band from Louisiana. And this is pretty great. I do like hearing groovy metal like this with clean vocals on top, and the singer’s voice is unique enough to keep me coming back.

The guitars do the traditional chugga chugga you’d expect, and the solos are bluesy and tight. Ooh and The Millipede has the pretty epic bass at the beginning and great riffs. If you’d like to hear the whole to-do, they’re on Bandcamp for the low low price of six dollars. Kinda hope they make their way up to the Pacific Northwet, they’d be well received.
